I’m a lifelong resident of the Reservoir area, deeply rooted in the community I’ve always called home. I attended Northwest Rankin High School and Holmes Community College. My career of service began when I turned 15 and joined the Reservoir Fire Department as a Junior Firefighter, later serving as a Volunteer Firefighter, and eventually as a paid Firefighter/EMT at the Reservoir Fire Department. Those experiences taught me the value of hard work, teamwork, and putting others first.
For the past twenty years, I’ve been blessed to be married to my wife, Melissa. Together, we’re raising our sons, and we understand the importance of keeping Rankin County a safe, strong, and family-centered place to live.
I’m a small business owner and an active member of PineLake Church, where I’ve served as a leader for 7th and 8th-grade boys for the past nine years. I’ve also been honored to serve our youth as a former board member of the Northwest Rankin Athletic Association and as a baseball and soccer coach for NWRAA. In every role—husband, father, firefighter, coach, business owner, or community leader—my commitment has been the same: to serve with integrity, protect what we value, and work hard for the people of our community.
My Christian faith is the foundation of everything I believe and do. I believe salvation is available to all through the grace of God, and that every person is created equal in His eyes. I believe in doing what is right—especially when it’s the hard thing to do—because integrity matters.
I believe in transparency and accountability in government, because public service is a trust, not a privilege. Leaders should serve with openness and be held to the highest standard by the people they represent. I also believe that community is more than just the place you live—it’s where you grow, give back, and help others thrive. A strong community is built on neighbors helping neighbors and working together for a better future.
